Highlights 1/11/13

News:

2nd MP Quarterly Assessments - When we changed the dates for 2nd MP due to Hurricane Sandy, I never updated the dates for the Quarterly Assessments.  Quarterlies should be administered during the week of January 21st.   All departments/teachers need to follow the schedule below.   
*During the 1st marking period there were numerous requests to change days/weeks but we cannot do that again.  It is not fair to the students.  

Week of January 21st
Monday, January 21st - Language Arts
Tuesday, January 22nd - Social Studies
Wednesday, January 23rd - Math
Thursday, January 24th - Science
Friday, January 25th - World Languages   

• Reminder:  2nd Marking Period ends on Wednesday, January 30th.  
• There will be a School Safety Meeting on Tuesday, January 15th in Room 139 at 3:10. If you would like to be involved please stop by.

PD Resources:

There is a new website that has recently launched called NewJerseyEducation.com.  The goal of the site is to provide a single source for NJ educators to go to for news, PD resources, jobs, conferences, etc.   The site was created by Jeff Bradury who also runs the Teachercast Webpage which is a site that contains some great resources.  Both sites also have Twitter accounts:
